Host Team Duties and Responsibilities

Host team:  Host team: Responsibilities include determining on the day of the games (1 hour before 1st game), if the field is good enough to play on when it is or has been raining. If the fields are not in good enough condition to play a "rain-out" call to the Commissioner needs to be made and the Board will contact the Captains to cancel the games.   Again, Host team: remember, you are the weatherman and everyone is dependent upon you. 

At Kennedy, you have another responsibility, with the bases.  You need to look ahead to see if you have to pick up the bases from the prior Saturday.  For example, on May 2nd, Pitchers is the Host team, so they have to pick up the bases after we're done on April 11th.

Host team: You have important duties on Game Day. The host team is noted on the top of the schedule for each day we play.

The Host team will have all the new softballs at each field prior to the start of the games. When playing at Kennedy, the Host team will bring and install the bases at all fields.
